Expanding Horizons – This program is a community-based learning program focusing on training experiences in the community utilizing natural and generic resources. The Expanding Horizons program provides supports and assistance that promote the individual's ability to participate in training opportunities to enhance their learning situation and provide community inclusion. Members are provided with the opportunity to make informed choices, accepting personal responsibility, and learning from natural consequences. Skill building includes safety, mobility training, self and community advocacy, vocational exploration, self-sufficiency, and use of community resources. This program operates from 7:45am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday, excluding most major holidays.

Youth and Family Services

The Youth and Family Services Department is designed to provide a comprehensive program that provides wraparound services in a multi-faceted approach. By providing support through all stages of a child’s development leading up to and including complete integration into a traditional school system, parents and their children will benefit from evidence-based practices and methods that model behavior, build a peer support system, and provide quality care and services.

Employment Services

UCP Employment Services (UCPES) – This program is designed to provide up-to-date and relevant employment services and is committed to serving individuals who wish to work in community or group-based employment. UCPES assists in developing job-seeking skills and provides assistance in identifying vocational goals as well as assisting in locating employment opportunities. On-the-job supports are also available when needed to ensure successful job retention.
